West Bend East

A tough loss today with a team that I felt was very close in ability to us as we lost to West Bend East 20-6.

Simply made too many mistakes, such as losing three fumbles, having numerous penalties, and missing defensive assignments.

The message after the game was for the players to focus on having a strong week of practice, as many of the mistakes we made in the game we were also making in practice this week. We always tell the players that they will play how they practice, and that means both for the better and for the worse.

We will begin fixing things on Monday. Please note that we will end practice a little bit early on Monday due to (1) darkness starting to settle in, and more importantly, (2) a Packer-Bear Monday Night Football game that I am sure many players and parents will want to be home for. We'll probably end about 10-15 minutes early.
